Second half FC strikes again. Liverpool win 3-1 after going in level or behind at the break for the fourth match in a row, and their reward for it is a midweek trip to Bournemouth in the embryonic days of November.

When we were at our best from that period between 2018 until early 2022, we had a team. A team where every single player was really good. A team where every single player knew their role.

Sometimes you come out of a game with mixed emotions, drinking a cocktail made of questions and answers in equal measure.

They’re back. I’ve been saying in the first four games - and particularly the two most recent ones - that Liverpool are serious.
