Just a fan’s thoughts

Boxes are ticked and business is completed for Liverpool.

It is some game of football. It is one that Liverpool are so present and so competitive in and in some respects it is similar to the April instalment of this fixture in that it’s hard to know whether to be delighted or frustrated.

For the first time in what feels like forever but is actually just a matter of a few weeks, football seemed to come easy to the Reds there.

Exactly what I feared.

What did we want from tonight?

December isn’t about Christmas. It’s about your football team winning games and getting points.

It’s another evening that makes for grim viewing at times but it’s yet another essential three points that Liverpool collect.
