Just a fan’s thoughts

Your books, magazines, podcasts, Twitter feeds, television shows and conversations in the pub will be full of predicted Premier League tables right now, so I thought I’d go for a slightly different approach and predict one thing that will happen to each team in the 2024/25 season.

 I was set an interesting challenge to compose a squad of Liverpool players (past and present), using nations qualified for Euro 2024. 

With the transfer window about to begin in earnest, I set about a challenge - constructing a Liverpool eleven - with substitutes - using one player signed from each of the last 20 seasons. 

The transfer window is always the most speculation-filled time of the year, where fans have to wade through a forest of lies to unearth a nugget of truth and reality, but it’s part of football fandom and well all be thinking about what we want our club to do this summer.
